I am a creative thinker, researcher, and visual problem solver. In all of my roles, I have conceived new product ideas, worked within tight deadlines, collaborated with other creatives, and taken the lead on managing projects. I believe that everyone has the right to authentically express themselves and I do that through product design.

In my previous career, I designed websites as a freelancer. I also worked in the Halloween industry for almost 10 years, designing Halloween costumes and seasonal novelty décor for big-box retailers including Walmart, Target, Spirit Halloween, CVS, and Party City. I enjoy empowering others through self-expression, costumes are a vehicle to embody the alter-ego. I have also produced and styled 12-15 photoshoots annually for several years within the Halloween market. This taught me how to manage a creative team and also project manage a budget of $150k per year.

Over the past 10 years, I have studied developmental psychology and Tibetan Buddhism as a hobby. I like to learn about behavioral patterning and what makes people think the way that they do. UX Design seems like the natural next evolution in my career. Moving into technology will allow me to help and reach a wider audience with design and innovative ideas.
